TED app good for
Thank you so much, one of the best app and idea.
Would love a chromecast feature for the next update. It would be for TED a very good way to expand your work
TED is the best way to discover new topic really amazing in a couple of minutes.
I use a lot downloading the videos to watch them later in the subway
This App/Website/Videoseries is just mindblowing. This is a must have for anyone who would like to acquire new knowledges on everything.
The user experience within the app is very good and let us discover great talks presenTED by amazing speakers.
However the app skips a very important feature: the opportunity to mind the gap between devices in order to sync our favorite talks across TED apps!
A must-have for mind-broadening and curious people who are also eager to improve their language skills!
Inspiring..!
Each one is a lesson to learn..
I love it.
Thank you..
Some bad moments
There isnt an option to delete saved talks anymore, the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall (and lose all your bookmarks). No edit button, swiping has no effect, the download icon cannot be used to undownload.
The app does not launch on an iPhone 6S Plus with iOS 9.3 ! Simply does not launch ! DisappoinTED.
With this version, its impossible on my iPhone5S to see the downloaded conferences full screen. Very disappoinTED because I watch all of them during my train travels.
Subtitles only works on iPhone. When I go to stream to chromecast just show TED without subtitles but when I switch to phone, the subtitles works well.
Whats happening?
Really love the TED initiative, but this app needs to be really much improved... There are so recurrent problems, talks that doesnt close and open one over the sound of the previous, difficulties with the chromecast, subtitles icon that doesnt even load the available languages, and when it does, doesnt load the subs at all. Have to close and re-open several times. Hope it gets better, theres so much to learn, and the app could make it easier.
Im desperately looking for the ability to log into my TED account but simply cant find it.
Would be great to be able to easily find & watch videos I marked as "watch later" on my iPad, too...
